In this process, I was very intrigued by the application of unconventional land techniques and the relationships it created between boundaries, pathways, and occupants. Drawing from picturesque practices, I wanted to integrate the exaggeration of hills and relate it to how an occupant would enter the building. Manipulating the landscape in this way would allow the residents along the eastern side to gain some privacy from our university building. Each level would correlate with an activity such as theater, fine arts, and health. The center of the building would allow a vertical relationship with all three activities.
